Our Programmes

A journey of impact and dedication — empowering children, strengthening families, and transforming communities across Odisha for over four decades.

Child Rights

Pragati Jubak Sangha is committed to ensuring that every child enjoys the right to survival, protection, development, and participation. We work with families, schools, communities, and institutions to build a safe, supportive, and enabling environment where children can thrive with dignity and hope. Through our child rights programme, we aim to protect children from harm, provide opportunities for growth, and empower them to become active citizens of tomorrow.

Marine Biodiversity and Coastal Resilience

Pragati Jubak Sangha works with coastal communities to protect marine ecosystems while strengthening the resilience and livelihoods of fisher folk. We promote sustainable fishing, coastal conservation, and community-led adaptation to climate change, ensuring that marine biodiversity and human wellbeing go hand in hand. By combining marine biodiversity conservation with resilient livelihoods, we aim to secure the future of both the ocean and the coastal communities who depend on it.

Climate Resilient Livelihood

Pragati Jubak Sangha promotes sustainable and climate-smart livelihood solutions that help vulnerable communities adapt to changing climates, secure their incomes, and protect natural resources. We work with farmers, fishers, women, and youth to strengthen resilience and ensure long-term economic security. By fostering agriculture, livestock, and green livelihoods, we aim to reduce vulnerability, enhance adaptive capacity, and secure sustainable futures for marginalized communities.

Disaster Preparedness, Response and Climate Action

Pragati Jubak Sangha works with communities to reduce disaster risks, build resilience, and respond effectively to emergencies. We combine preparedness and rapid response with long-term climate action, ensuring vulnerable groups are protected and empowered to face future challenges. Through preparedness, timely response, and climate resilience, we aim to protect lives, reduce losses, and enable communities to thrive even in the face of disasters

Welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

Pragati Jubak Sangha is committed to creating an inclusive society where persons with disabilities (PwDs) live with dignity, equal rights, and opportunities. Our programmes focus on empowerment through organization building, education, livelihood, accessibility, rights promotion, and accountability, ensuring no one is left behind.

Integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Promotion

To ensure access to safe water, improved sanitation facilities, and hygiene practices for healthier, dignified, and sustainable living in rural and urban communities, schools, and Anganwadi centres.
